SEIU-West represents approximately 11,400 employees within the Saskatchewan Health Authority and Affiliate Employers.

Employees fill a variety of roles in over 300 classifications providing services such as nursing, clerical, technical and support services.

The Collective Agreement is for the periods April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2022, and April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, and will continue to be in effect until a new Collective Agreement is finalized.

Provider Group Joint Job Evaluation Program

CUPE, SEIU-West, SGEU (Provider Unions) and SAHO, through a joint job evaluation project developed, implemented and maintain a sustainable plan using the principles of Government of Saskatchewan Equal Pay for Work of Equal Value and Pay Equity Policy Framework. This job evaluation system objectively and fairly determines the value of jobs within an organization. The Provider Group Joint Job Evaluation Maintenance Committee (JJEMC) has the task of continuing with a systematic study and analysis of jobs using the four gender-neutral criteria of skill, effort, responsibility, and working conditions.
