SAHO is the Designated Employer Bargaining Agent for unionized health sector employers.
SAHO is responsible for representing the interests of health sector employers during negotiations and provides consultation and interpretation services on an ongoing basis. SAHO also administers the Provincial Arbitration Committee (PAC) process and Career Adjustment Program.
SAHO acts as the liaison between health sector employers and the Ministry of Health, the Personnel Policy Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance for the purposes of collective bargaining and negotiation of issues with provincial implications.
