The SAHO Bargaining Committee and the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union Local 3024 (SGEU) met on May 26, 27 and 28th in Saskatoon.

The parties continued to engage in productive and collaborative discussions to advance the collective bargaining process.

During this session, we reached agreement on new provisions regarding Occupational Health and Safety Committees. 

Constructive discussions are ongoing on non-monetary items including provisions related to hours of work such as modified schedules, and casual work. 

This progress reflects the shared commitment of both parties to advancing negotiations in a collaborative, respectful, and solution-focused manner that supports employees, the Employer, and the patients we serve.

We have scheduled bargaining dates through the summer months and into late 2026. The next bargaining session is scheduled for June 16, 17 and 18, 2026 in Regina.
