Bargaining Update

August 2026

The SAHO Bargaining Committee and the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union Local 3024 (SGEU) met on August 25, 26 and 27th in Regina.

During this session, we reached agreement on language that provides clarity and some added flexibility regarding hours of work. Constructive discussions continued on the remaining non-monetary items as well. 

This progress reflects the shared commitment of both parties to advancing negotiations in a collaborative, respectful, and solution-focused manner that supports employees, the Employer, and the patients we serve.

The next bargaining session is scheduled for September 8 and 9th, 2026 in Saskatoon.
