The SAHO Bargaining Committee and the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union Local 3024 (SGEU) commenced negotiations for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) on January 16, 2025. Since that date, the parties have regularly met, including July 28, 29 and 30, 2025. 

The Parties have agreed to several language improvements to classification and hours of work provisions. Language changes that provide clarity to interpreting and administering the collective agreement have also been agreed to.  

Additional bargaining dates are scheduled into the summer and fall of 2025 and we have tentatively added five days to our bargaining schedule.

Our next meetings will be on August 11, 12 and 13 in Regina.
