The SAHO Bargaining Committee met with the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union Local 3024 for the first session of Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) collective bargaining on January 16 and 17, 2025.

The initial exchange of proposal packages provides the first opportunity to hear the issues identified by each party. The days were productive with time taken to ask questions and provide a deeper understanding of the proposals.   

There are many considerations that the parties are looking to address in this round and have set meeting dates into June to facilitate those negotiations including using virtual platforms to accommodate single day meetings.  

Our next meeting dates are March 17 and March 31, 2025.
