HSAS Spring 2025 meeting round-up

Through the spring of 2025, SAHO’s Bargaining Committee met with HSAS on six separate occasions:

• March 12, 13 and 14
• April 9, 10 and 11
• May 7, 8 and 9
• May 21, 22 and 23
• June 3, 4 and 5
• June 24, 25 and 26

These sessions have resulted in positive, solution-based discussions and the parties have reached agreement on several items related to general housekeeping, leaves of absence and safety in the workplace.

SAHO remains committed to negotiating a collective agreement which reflects the present-day configuration of healthcare while providing the flexibility to ensure that the needs of the employees, patients, clients and residents are met.    

Our next dates are scheduled for August 26, 27 and 28 2025.
