The SAHO and HSAS bargaining committee met on November 13 and 14, 2025, to continue collective bargaining discussions.

During this session, the committees reached agreement on a portion of Article 25 – General Provisions, which is related to Disasters. The parties continued productive discussions on proposals related to Land Acknowledgement, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and State of Emergency. These conversations have helped to clarify each party’s perspectives and will support further advancement as negotiations continue.

SAHO views the outcomes from these November discussions as a positive indication that further agreement is achievable with continued focus and engagement. To aid the parties in those discussions, there was agreement on process improvements to help foster productive and efficient negotiations. The parties are also considering additional bargaining dates 2026. 

SAHO remains committed to meaningful dialogue which reflects the present-day configuration of healthcare while providing flexibility to ensure the needs of employees, patients, clients, and residents are met. 

The next negotiation session is scheduled in Regina on December 1 and 2, 2025.
