The SAHO Bargaining Committee met with the Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan (HSAS) to commence collective bargaining on January 27, 28 and 29, 2025. The initial exchange of proposal packages provides the first opportunity to hear the issues identified by each party. The days were productive with time taken to ask questions and provide a deeper understanding of the proposals.   

Unlike the other healthcare bargaining tables, this table is focused on renewal collective bargaining. Transition issues arising with the amalgamation of the twelve former Regional Health Authorities to the Saskatchewan Health Authority were negotiated in the last round of bargaining. However, there are many considerations that the parties are looking to address in this round and have set meeting dates well into June to facilitate those negotiations.

Our next meeting dates are March 12, 13 and 14, 2025 in Regina.
