SAHO/eHealth Saskatchewan and SGEU Local 1579 Bargaining Update August 2026

The SAHO/eHealth employer committee met with the SGEU bargaining committee on August 4 and 5, 2026, in Saskatoon marking the first session of negotiations for a renewed collective agreement for the term beginning October 2025.

The session was respectful, constructive and established a positive foundation for the bargaining process.

This session included the initial exchange of proposal packages and a discussion clarifying the intent of the proposals presented.   Additionally, bargaining processes and procedures were established, and an agenda was created to ensure that sessions remain productive and the parties come prepared. 

The SAHO bargaining committee looks forward to working toward a renewed collective agreement that supports Employees, the Employer, and the provision of health care services delivered by eHealth in Saskatchewan.

The next bargaining session is scheduled for September 14 and 15, 2026, in Regina.
