Retail, Wholesale Department Store Union (RWDSU), SAHO and Employer bargaining committee representatives met in Regina on April 3, 2014 in follow-up to an initial bargaining session held on October 28, 2013 and three follow-up sessions on January 23 and 31, 2014 and March 10, 2014.
Retail, Wholesale Department Store Union (RWDSU), SAHO and Employer bargaining committee representatives met in Regina on April 3, 2014 in follow-up to an initial bargaining session held on October 28, 2013 and three follow-up sessions on January 23 and 31, 2014 and March 10, 2014. The RWDSU collective bargaining agreement expired on March 31, 2012.
On April 3rd, the RWDSU committee presented an updated proposal package consisting of a 4 year agreement that included timelines for implementation that could not be achieved by the employer. Following some discussion, the employer indicated it was unable to accept the union’s proposal.
No further bargaining dates have been set as of yet.
