Provider Unions Bargaining Update - September 14-23, 2017

SAHO and the Provider Unions (CUPE, SEIU-West, SGEU) concluded a productive 10 days of bargaining in Saskatoon on September 23, 2017. There was progress
made on a number of proposals that have now been finalized, and additional counter proposals exchanged on outstanding items. This included memoranda
to further facilitate discussions related to transition issues for both parties, pertinent to the move to a single health authority. The parties remain
apart on the -3.5 percent compensation reduction and the term of the agreement.
The next bargaining dates have been set for October 16, 17 and 18, 2017 in Moose Jaw.
